Justin Bieber's fans got a look at something they haven't seen for a very long time - his tattoo-less torso.

The singing star has more than 60 all over his body but decided the New Year was the perfect time for a cover-up.

It's a new look for 2021 but fans shouldn't worry as his body art will be back once he washes off the make-up.

Justin stripped down to his Calvins as he posted a time-lapse and he took everyone on a trip down memory lane.

It was all for new release Anyone, and the 26-year-old opted for a clean slate for it as he got every tattoo temporarily taken away.

The talented make-up artists spray-painted the star's chest, back, arms, and neck to make sure nothing was showing.

He wrote: "No tats for the #Anyonevideo," as he flaunted off his trimmed physique.

Justin spent hours in the chair making sure he looked just right - and the New Year look left his fans feeling nostalgic.

The star opened up more in 2020 as he spoke candidly about his struggles.

Justin discussed his mental health battles in a YouTube documentary Justin Bieber : Next Chapter - and had an important message for anyone going through the type of "pain" he used to feel.

"There was times where I was really, really suicidal," he said.

"Like, man, is this pain ever going to go away? It was so consistent, the pain was so consistent.

"I was just suffering, right? So, I'm just like, man, I would rather not feel this than feel this."

He gave fans plenty to look at in the time-lapse

He added there was "plenty" to gain from discussing mental health issues.

The star said: "I just would encourage people, like, 'Hey, if you're feeling lonely, talk about it. Say it out loud.' There's a freedom in that. I could have avoided a lot of pain."

Justin said back in 2019: "It's cool to have a healthy mind and healthy emotions.

"I pray and meditate, things like that. I write music, listen to music. Music is very powerful; it can really help you when you're feeling low."
